Word has been buzzing around Maui for months that the same group that brought us Down The Hatch and reinvented Mala Ocean Tavern bought the long standing Fu Lin Chinese Restaurant on the corner of Front Street and Kapunakea Street in Lahaina. Well the word is true, and the newest restaurant to come to Maui with Executive Chef and Owner Alvin Savella is DUCKINE. Duckine is Chef Savella’s first restaurant to own and have full reign on the menu you brings forth Dim Sum and a whole lot of Duck. Chef Alvin’s pallet, known for array of culinary masterful dishes, now delights us with a twist on Asian Fusion, combining local flavors of home and the spices of Chinese cuisine.
