DUCKINE
Since August 8, life took an unexpected turn, and we're grateful for the support we have received from our community on Maui and beyond. While we have waited, Chef Alvin Savella “The Kitchen Assassin” has been busy executing Duckine pop-ups and supporting #LoveForLahaina. We've been eagerly awaiting confirmation that the water is safe for drinking, and we're pleased to share that the water department has cleared the area around our sister restaurant Mala Ocean Tavern on Front Street. Duckine’s Zone is still closed, and we are grateful that Duckine owners Rob Farrell and Chef Alvin Savella will help relaunch MALA. When you see them, please say thank you. Currently, we're in the process of bringing everything back to operational status at Duckine. While staffing and online setup will take time, we're working diligently to make it happen.
Your messages, well wishes, and patience mean a lot as we navigate through this. Once all operations are ready, we'll announce our official opening date to welcome to back.
