    Rob Farrell, the General Manager and Owner, originally from the UK, possesses an unrivaled passion for culinary arts, wine, and mixology. He is renowned for his ability to provide exceptional service and oversee top-notch execution. With his expertise, Rob has raised the bar for restaurant standards on Maui and has dedicated himself to refining the Duckine Brand through its cuisine and cocktail program. Every aspect of Duckine reflects Farrell's creative flair, palate, and unwavering passion.

    Executive Chef

    Duckine is thrilled to have Executive Chef Alvin Savella, also known as "The Kitchen Assassin," at the helm. As both Chef and owner of Duckine, Savella fearlessly explores Chinese, Hawaiian, and local flavors, elevating Asian Fusion cuisine to new heights. Drawing on memories of his family's scratch-made meals during his upbringing, as well as his travels, Savella combines flavors to create bold and innovative dishes.

    Sous Chef

    Born and raised here on Maui, Sous Chef BJ Paddilao attended Le Cordon Bleu college of culinary arts in Sacamento, CA. After school he honed his culinary skills in several kitchens around the island. When the opportunity to work with the one and only “Kitchen Assassin” came, he jumped at the chance. “Duckine” is a family oriented restaurant that takes BJ back in time to his childhood days. He is inspired by the family style dining. Chef BJ describes himself as humble and quiet, yet his actions in the kitchen have become his words, as he assists to create and combine the local flavors of the islands for Duckine's Chinese Fusion cuisine.
